<p>Two boys, aged 14 and 17, were shot and critically injured Monday afternoon in Grand Boulevard, Chicago police said.</p><p>Officers responded to the 4100 block of South Prairie Avenue at about 3:49 p.m. and found the boys suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.</p><p>The 14-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in critical condition, according to police.</p><p>The 17-year-old boy was shot in the head and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center initially in critical condition, police said.</p><p>Area One detectives are investigating the shooting.</p>
