Police spotted a 2019 Ford Mustang and 2023 Dodge Charger in an illegal speed contest on William Floyd Parkway around 12:50 a.m. Tuesday. The drivers initially fled but were stopped near Smith Point Bridge. Both face unlawful speed contest charges and reckless driving citations.
