Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton, ages 9, 7 and 5, disappeared from Morenci, Michigan, around Thanksgiving 2010 and have never been found. Their father, John Skelton, previously served a prison sentence for unlawful imprisonment related to their disappearance and has maintained that he did not kill his sons.
Nearly 16 years later, Skelton has been ordered to stand trial on murder charges in connection with their presumed deaths. He has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors are moving forward despite the fact that the brothers’ remains have never been recovered.
