<p>A 16-year-old girl was injured in a shooting in Little Village Monday evening, Chicago police said.</p><p>Officials said the girl was struck in the back when a man she knew approached her and fired shots.</p><p>The shooting took place in the 2200 block of South Sawyer Avenue at about 7:11 p.m., police said.</p><p>The girl was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and was initially reported in serious condition, according to police.</p><p>Area Detectives are investigating.</p>
