Kalyn Hunt, 36, was charged Monday with misdemeanor domestic violence just six days after her husband Cam Hunt won the Alabama sheriff’s race. She was booked into Lee County jail at midnight and released 24 hours later. The sheriff-elect says his family is fine and calls it a private matter.
