A black Chevrolet Suburban was traveling at high speed on northbound I-435 near Raytown when it veered off the interstate and rolled multiple times Saturday afternoon. The front passenger was ejected and died at the scene. The driver remains hospitalized in serious condition. Authorities are investigating why the vehicle left the road.
