<p>A man was seriously injured and a woman was missing after a vehicle drove into the Little Calumet River early Tuesday in West Pullman on the Far South Side. </p><p>The vehicle, which was occupied by five adults, was in the 13000 block of South Indiana Avenue around 2:30 a.m. when it lost control, struck a barrier and fell into the water, Chicago police said. </p><p>One man was rescued by the marine unit and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition, police said. </p><p>A woman was missing and a search for her continued, officials said. </p><p>Three others were able to make it to land safely and were treated by Chicago Fire Department officials, police said. </p><p>The Major Accidents Investigation Unit were investigating.<br></p>
