John-Paul Miller married Suzie Skinner in June 2025, about 13 months after the death of his estranged wife, Mica Miller. Suzie had attended John-Paul’s Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and PEOPLE reports that she had known John-Paul and Mica for years.
Their relationship has attracted additional scrutiny because of allegations featured in Netflix’s Death of the Pastor’s Wife. Mica’s friend Charlotte Kornick alleged in the documentary that Mica had discovered John-Paul was having an affair with Suzie before Mica’s death. PEOPLE reports that John-Paul and Suzie did not respond to the documentary producers’ requests for comment on the allegation. Mica died by suicide in April 2024, according to authorities, and John-Paul has not been accused of causing her death.
