The 62-year-old Ford Explorer driver was hit by a Kia Soul on May 9 at Maryland Parkway and Pyle Avenue. She was hospitalized but her injuries weren’t initially considered life-threatening. The coroner’s office contacted police this week to report her death on May 15.
